Refund policy

At Raline Bergemann, we take pride in our expert craftsmanship and our commitment to sustainability. By producing in limited batches, we reduce environmental waste. To support this mission and maintain our affordable price points, our policy is as follows:

1. Complimentary 14-Day Return Window

In accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations, please be advised that there is no general legal right of return or withdrawal for purchases made in Switzerland (in this case, online shopping). All sales are considered final, unless the item is proven to be defective or you received the wrong items. Anyway, we always make a double control and take some photos, before we dispatch an order.

2. Defective Items (14-Day Replacement)

If you receive an item that is defective or has a manufacturing flaw:

Notification: You must notify us within 14 days of the purchase date.

Resolution: Upon photo verification of the defect, you are entitled to a replacement for another item of equal (as long as available) or greater value (paying the difference) or a Gift Card (store credit) for future purchases.

Condition: The item must be returned in its original packaging set intact, unworn and unused.

3. Change of Mind (Exchange Only)

If the item is not defective, but you or your gift recipient is not satisfied with your choice:

Exchange Period: We offer a complimentary exchange service within 14 days of purchase date.

No Refunds: We do not offer cash or credit card refunds for non-defective items.

Exchanges: You may exchange the piece for another item of equal or greater value (paying the difference) or a Gift Card (minus 10% restocking fee; we don’t reimburse your return shipping). First, you have to send the initial item, then you make a separate purchase for the new item.

Condition: Items must be in pristine, unworn, and saleable condition with original packaging set.

4. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons (REACH & RoHS compliance), the following items are strictly excluded from both returns and changes: 

Earrings: Earrings (due to hygiene regulations).

Sale Items: Items purchased at a discount or during promotional events.

5. How to Initiate a Return/ Exchange

Please contact us at: info@ralinebergemann.com with your original sales receipt.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how to send your package. We recommend using Registered Swiss Post shipping service.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note, that you should pay for the return delivery. Before we receive the returned item, the item is at your own expense/ risk.
